I love Mango Icecream


Summer is here & so are the mangoes. Markets are flooded with different varieties of mangoes & their aroma, makes each one of us crazy. So lets try Mango Icecream, made at our home by picking the fresh mangoes of your choice. They can be just anyone, ranging fron Dussheri to Chausa to Totapari to Langda to Alphonso or Kesar or just anyone, afterall there are more than thousand varieties of mango.

Although you may take anyone of these, but if I have to recommend one I shall say, get started with Alfonso, its my personal favourite. So lets go ahead to have a look at the ingredients.
INGREDIENTS
  • 2 Ripe Mangoes
  • 1 Orange
  • 1 Lime
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Whipped Cream
PROCEDURE
Peel the mangoes & slice them, removing the seed after scraping off fruit.Take out juice from Orange & lime using a juicer. Blend the mango with the help of a food processor. Make a puree of it. Add orange & lime juice to it.Add sugar. Pour into a metal bowl & fold in Cream. Put ina freezer for 45 minutes. Take out & whisk till smooth for creamy texture. Put in the refrigerator. Repeat whisking after 20 minutes. Store in a container. Let it freeze & serve later, garnished with mint leaves.
