Simple fish Chowder

Simple fish Chowder

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 large Onion (Chopped)
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 4  cup Water
  • Potatoes ( peeled & diced)
  • 1 kg fresh or frozen cod fillets, cut into large chunks
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 cup milk
  • 350ml evaporated milk
  • 21/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp pepper
  • Chopped fresh parsley
PROCEDURE
In a pan, saute onions in butter. Add water & bring to boil. Add potatoes, cook for 10 minutes. Add fish & lemon juice, reduce heat & simmer for 10 minutes. Add milk, salt & pepper. Garnish with parsley & serve hot!!
