Simple fish Chowder
INGREDIENTS
- 1 large Onion (Chopped)
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 4 cup Water
- Potatoes ( peeled & diced)
- 1 kg fresh or frozen cod fillets, cut into large chunks
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 cup milk
- 350ml evaporated milk
- 21/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp pepper
- Chopped fresh parsley
In a pan, saute onions in butter. Add water & bring to boil. Add potatoes, cook for 10 minutes. Add fish & lemon juice, reduce heat & simmer for 10 minutes. Add milk, salt & pepper. Garnish with parsley & serve hot!!
