Theli wali Aalu tikkiiii

AALU TIKKI

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 Boiled,peeled & mashed Potatoes(Aalu)
  • 3 Chopped green chillies(Hari mirch)
  • 2 Tablespoon Chopped fresh coriander( Hara dhaniya)
  • 1 Tablespoon Chaat Masala

  • 2 Tablespoon Corn Flour
  • 1 Teaspoon Turmeric powder( Haldi)
  • 1 Teaspoon Red chilli powder(Lal mirch)
  • ½ Teaspoon Garam Masala powder
  • Salt(to taste)
  • Oil(to fry)

PROCEDURE

Mix grated, boiled potatoes with green chillies,ginger,coriander leaves,garam masala & salt.

Add cornflour. Divide mixture into equal portions. Shape each portion into a ball & then press it between your palms to give it a flat tikki shape. Heat sufficient oil in kadai & deep fry or even shallow fry in a tawa till golden on both sides.

GARNISHING

Garnish it with chopped onions . Serve with curd sprinkled with salt & red chilli powder. Top the tikki with sonthia chatni or simply with sauce or hari chatni.
