Tandoori Paneer tikka

Tandoori Paneer tikka

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 cups Paneer(Cut into cubes)
To be mixed with marinade
  • 1/2 Cup Thick Curd( Whisked)
  • 1 tsp Ginger Paste
  • 1 tsp Garlic Paste
  • 2 tsp Chilli Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Dried Fenugreek Leaves
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala Powder
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Coriander
  • 1 tsp Chaat masala
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • salt to taste
PROCEDURE
Combine the paneer strips with prepared marinade & toss gently till the marinade coats the paneer pieces evenly from all sides.Keep aside for 15 minutes. Arrange the paneer pieces on the wire rack in a preheated oven at 200 degree Celcius & grill for around 15 minutes.
Remove from oven & serve hot with chatni!!

Shish Kebab

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 lbs beef sirloin or tenderloin, cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
PROCEDURE 24 hours prior to grilling, prepare marinade by combining olive oil, vinegar, corianader, garlic, cumin, and paprika. Pour marinade into freezer bag and add beef cubes. Allow to marinate in the refrigerator until ready to grill.

Remove from refrigerator and thread meat onto skewers that have been sprayed with cooking oil.

Spray grill with cooking oil to prevent sticking. Grill for 5-7 minutes on each side or until cooked as desired.

Serve over a bed of white rice, salad.

Pahadi Paneer tikka

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 Cups Paneer(Cottage cheese) cut into 1” cubes
  • 1 cup Onion cut into 1” cubes
  • 1 Cup Capsicum cut into 1” cubes
  • 1 cup Tomato cut into 1” cubes
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • Salt to taste
To be ground to smooth green marinade
  • 1 cup chopped mint leaves
  • 1/2 Cup Chopped Coriander
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 tbsp Chopped Green Chillies
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Cream
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Curd
  • Salt to taste
PROCEDURE
Thread one piece of each paneer, onion, capsicum & tomato onto a toothpick. Repeat with remaining ingredients to make more tikkas. Apply the green marinade on the tikkas & keep aside for 15 to 20 minutes. Heat the oil in a non stick pan & saute till the tikkas turn golden brown on both sides. Remove from the flame & serve immediately.
